Ballot measures restricting reproductive justice have, by and large, failed to change the law. But reproductive justice advocates have been forced to spend tens of millions of dollars defending women's health. BISC works with state and national partners to avoid costly fights by identifying threats early and formulating proactive strategies when possible.

  • Amendment 6: Puts politics where it doesn’t belong: in personal medical decisions and could ban insurance from covering a woman who needs to end a pregnancy to protect her health.
