Khady Mbaye

Khady MbayeKhady Mbaye is BISC’s Project Coordinator.  As BISC’s project list has grown, so have its organizational needs.  Working closely with the Executive Director, Khady will assist with project outreach, operations, research and strategic support to BISC’s national and state partners.

Khady comes to BISC from Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research (GQR), a polling research firm, where she was a Project Associate.  Her work focused on helping to manage and mine large survey datasets using cross-survey analysis with the goal of making better use of polling data to improve decision-making in the 2008 US elections and beyond.  She also worked on polls for various progressive issue groups mainly researching health care, financial literacy, credit access among minorities, and religion in politics.

Prior to GQR, Khady was an associate at Andrew Sharp Consulting.  Her work with Andrew focused on implementing direct mail programs for the various local and congressional campaigns she was involved in, as well as overseeing the work of campaign staffers and providing support.

Khady graduated from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium with a Masters in The Politics and Administration of the European Union.  Khady also received a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and French from Washington and Lee University located in Lexington, Virginia.

Khady is an avid hiker.  Her favorite hiking event of the year is the Rachel Carson Trail Challenge which brings together hundreds of fellow hiking enthusiast to complete a brutalizing 34 mile hike over rolling hills in a one day, sunrise to sunset, endurance challenge.
