Kimberly Ochylski

Kim Ochylski is BISC's Online Communications Coordinator.  In her role at BISC, Kim coordinates the strategy, development, and execution of BISC’s online communication efforts.  Kim also manages and develops BISC’s websites and relationships with new media and blogger contacts at the national and state levels, empowering our ballot initiative coalitions and partners.

Prior to joining BISC, Kim was an Interactive Account Assistant at MSHC Partners.  As the day-to-day client contact, she coordinated the strategy and execution of online marketing and advertising campaigns for a wide range of non-profit, political and advocacy clients, including Media Matters, Human Rights Campaign, and United Nations Foundation.

Kim also worked as a voter targeting Research Analyst for the National Committee for an Effective Congress, where she managed state election results projects for various congressional and gubernatorial campaigns.  Her campaign experience also includes the 2008 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, the 2006 Rendell gubernatorial campaign in Pennsylvania and the 2004 Gregoire gubernatorial campaign in Washington.

A native of Los Osos, California, Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.  Although she’s lived in DC for the past 5 years, she still misses the beach, the year round California sunshine and good burritos, perhaps especially the burritos.  When she’s not working, Kim can be found playing sports of all kind, volunteering, and enjoying the DC nightlife.  She is also a huge sports fan, particularly cheering on her beloved Cal Bears and Michigan Wolverine football teams.
