Executive and Development Coordinator
Jalil Austin is a New York City native and the Executive and Development Coordinator. He brings over four years of executive support and fundraising experience.
Prior to joining BISC, he was consultant for NYC Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget, NYC Department of Education, and NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development where he developed political and fiscal recommendations for public officials.
Jalil received a BA in Social Cultural Analysis with a specialization in Community Finance and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Finance and Financial Management from New York University.
Jalil spends his free time researching policies focusing on LGBTQ issues and Housing and Community Development policies. He also loves to do yoga with his friends, go to brunch during the weekend, and travel across the country and throughout the world.
