Djuana Makeba (she/her) is a dedicated operations and finance professional passionate about developing systems that support employee and organizational well-being, compliance, and culture.

With over ten years of experience in accounting, HR, payroll, and back-office operations across nonprofit and for-profit sectors, one of Djuana’s strengths is simplifying complex concepts. She’s known for her sharp eye, calm demeanor, and talent for balancing the need for structure and accuracy with a people-first approach—traits she developed growing up as the sixth child in her large family, affectionately referred to as “The Magnificent Seven” by her mother.

Outside of work, Djuana enjoys listening to various music genres, dancing, creative writing, admiring the majesty of trees and their feathery friends, and spending time with her human and furry family members. She is based in the South and dedicated to living a life grounded in curiosity, service, advocacy, and intentional personal growth, with the ultimate goal of fostering collective healing.
