Quentin Savwoir

Director of Programs and Strategy

Quentin Savwoir hails from the heart of America, Kansas City, Missouri. As the son of a labor leader and a school administrator, Quentin witnessed firsthand how hard-working people are often overlooked and underserved. 

Quentin’s civic and professional associations have been informed by his commitment to changing the world. Be it in the public, private, or nonprofit sector he has been an unrelenting advocate for measurably improving the lives of those in his community and families that look like his. 

Quentin previously worked as the national political director at Run for Something, overseeing their premier “Clerk Work” initiative to recruit pro-democracy election administrators. During his tenure, the program recruited more than 400 candidates to pursue offices salient to administering elections that protected the voices of nearly 20 million voters across five priority states. 

In 2017, Quentin moved to Las Vegas where he has become a fixture  in the progressive political landscape of Nevada. He has worked with numerous grassroots groups throughout the Valley to cultivate people power that has resulted in legislative changes, new coalitions and tangible improvements in the lives of his community members.  

In 2022, Quentin was elected president of the Las Vegas Branch of the  NAACP where he vowed to build greater political power and build on the rich legacy of the branch. Fueled by service to the community,  Quentin serves in a variety of capacities throughout southern Nevada – he calls them his free jobs. In his free time, he enjoys musical theater and political memoirs.
